- Mr. Sheffer started representing Volvo at Borton Volvo of Minneapolis in 1984, where he worked for Kjell Bergh as one of his sales managers. In 1988 he moved his family to the east coast of Florida where he and Kjell Bergh (The owner of Borton Volvo , Minneapolis) opened Borton Volvo of Delray Beach. In 1991 they aquired a Volkswagen franchise and opened Borton Volkswagen in Delray next to the Volvo store. Mr. Sheffer was the General Manager and Managing Partner of both of those stores. Mr. Sheffer bought Mr. Bergh's portion of the business in 2004 and became it's sole owner. In 2007, he sold his stores to Autonation and retired at age 50. That lasted two years and he was awarded the letter of intent for Volvo of Fort Myers from Volvo Cars North America. He opened Volvo of Fort Myers in September of 2007. He holds an Education Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Mr. Sheffer has a long list of professional achievements. He has won the Volvo "Dealer of Excellence Award", "Presidents Club Award" twice, and was the "Import Auto Dealer of the Year" for the American Import Auto Dealers Association, Motor Trend and Automobile Magazineas in 2003! He is also the only Volvo Dealer in America to win the "Volvo for Life Hero Award" for community service. He is the past President of the South Florida Auto and Truck Dealers Association as well as a winner of the "Business of the Year Award", for the City of Delray Beach, Fla. He has started two Public Charter Schools for disadvantaged youth and is an Honorary Fire Chief for the City of Delray, one of only three people to be so honored in the city's 100 year history. Loren is married to his wife, Monika and they have four children, two in college, and two at home. He is totally dedicated to Volvo and your satisfaction and uniquely, puts his personal cell phone number on the back of every staff members business card that is handed out thereby insuring you will have a great buying and servicing experience. Marty went into Volvo sales in 1985! He literally has sold or participated in thousands and thousands of Volvo sales! He has an unbelievable memory for people, their names, their family and what they drive. Marty lives in Naples and has been married to Renee Gaccione for 27 years. They have three children, 20, 24 and 26. He is originally from Rhode Island. His expertise about people, Volvo, and Volvo cars is truly amazing! He is a distance runner and has run the Boston Marathon and in January completed the Naples half marathon. Marty is super easy going and great with people.He loves sports, favorite teams The Patriots, The Celtics and The Red Sox. Ron is the great "steady Eddy" of our Volvo sales department. Ron was educated at Bridge Water University in Massachusetts. He holds a B.A in history and a minor in education. He has been selling Volvo since he moved to Florida over 20 years ago. He has over 2,200 Volvo sales to his credit, Need to say more? Ron has a huge amount of loyal customer. His extraordinary dedication to customer care makes him a perfect fit here at Volvo of Ft Myers. He became sold on Volvo when his 17 year old son totaled Ron's Volvo and walked away without a scratch. Ron has loyal customers from Sarasota to Miami. There is no "cha-cha" to Ron, he is a very sensitive and honest man who completely believes in our car and how we do what we do.

Kathy has worked for us for nearly three years now. She handles all the financing, leasing, and extended warranty sales for our guests along with a number of other valuable products that are available through her office. She has over twenty five years of experience in the Business Office and has excellent relationships with area banks and credit unions as well as national lenders. Her reputation for getting the right finance or leasing package for everyone of our guests is well known here at Volvo of Fort Myers. She also runs the sales staff one day a week as well as every other Sunday!
Kathy has two grown daughters as well as four beautiful Grand Children who she dotes after.
Her education is from Wright State in Ohio.

Bruce was hired here a right before we opened as our first salesperson back in 2007. He was consistently our top Sales person for our first five years in business and then became our new Volvo Sales Manager in 2012. In Fbruary of 2013 he was promoted to Vice President of Vehicle Sales Operations. Bruce has four grown children. He is a Florida native having been born and raised in Sarasota. Bruce bought Volvo's for his personal use long before selling them, that's how much he believes in what we sell and what we do for guests like you. Bruce is highly competent and has a outstanding warm personality as well as a great sense of humor. His hobbies include work, selling Volvo's, and working! Seriously he is always here!
